Dedicate your tax dollars to Our Family
The Arizona Charitable Tax Credit allows you to receive a dollar-for-dollar credit on your Arizona state income tax when you give to a qualifying charity that serves the working poor. Our Family is a qualifying charity.
For those filing a single tax return, your tax credit can be up to $400; for those filing jointly, it’s up to $800. This means the money you pay in taxes can benefit your community through an organization you choose! The amount you donate, up to these limits, will be deducted from the tax liability you owe the state, or added to your state refund if you don’t owe taxes this year. Here’s what to do:
- Donate to Our Family, online or by check. Send checks to: Our Family Services, 2590 N. Alvernon Way, Tucson, AZ 85712
- Prepare your state return.
- Complete Arizona Tax Form 321 and include it with your state return. Our Family’s QCO Code is: 20250
To learn more, please read the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit Guide.
2020 CARES Act Charitable Tax Deductions
Individual taxpayers who do not itemize their deductions can claim a deduction of up to $300 for gifts of cash made to public charities such as Our Family. The deduction is ONLY for gifts of cash made in calendar year 2020 and does not cover other types of gifts or contributions made to donor-advised funds or private foundations. Taxpayers will claim the deduction on their 2020 income tax return filed in 2021.
