Jamie SnyderChief Executive Officer
Jamie is an experienced CEO, who comes to OFS with 15 years of nonprofit experience in organizations that provide shelter, housing, and emergency services. She is a lifelong Southern Arizonan, who left briefly to obtain her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Northern Arizona University. Jamie returned to Tucson to raise her family in the vibrant community that she has always loved. In her free time, Jamie enjoys long distance runs, challenging CrossFit workouts, traveling, and baking for her two young sons.
Alma LopezChief Equity and Human Resources Officer
Alma is a native Tucsonan and grew up in the Pascua Yaqui community of Old Pascua. She is a proud mother of 4 and grandmother to 5 children. Alma has over 30 years of human resources experience and has worked for large employers such as G4S, Raytheon, Cox Communications, and C3. Alma has served on the City of Tucson's Human Resources Committee. Her leadership experience also includes holding elected office on the Pascua Yaqui Tribal Council, which is dedicated to the wellbeing and advancement of the tribe as a whole. Alma’s most recent experience includes serving in an operations leadership position at a local nonprofit affordable housing provider. In her free time Alma enjoys listening to oldies and doing crossword puzzles.
Melissa BenjaminChief Program Officer
Melissa Benjamin is originally from Fargo, ND but has spent most of her life growing up and happily living in Tucson. Melissa is a proud University of Arizona Wildcat alum where she graduated with a BA in Anthropology. She then went on to obtain an MA in Human Service Administration from the University of Illinois. She has worked at Our Family Services for 11 years, starting out as an intern and having many opportunities to grow into different positions. Most recently, Melissa was Our Family’s Homeless Services Director where she oversaw programming for families and young adults experiencing homelessness. Melissa has also had the opportunity to work closely with the Tucson Pima Collaboration to End Homelessness (TPCH), where she has served on the board and is currently the chair of the Coordinated Entry Committee. In her free time, Melissa loves spending time with her family and friends and enjoys playing piano, reading, and watching movies.
