Using Motivational Interviewing for Rapid Engagement and Brief Interventions
May 20 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm| $125.00
Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a person-centered counseling style for addressing the common problem of ambivalence about change.
This class is designed for the helping professional who wants to make the most impact with the limited time available working with their clients. You will learn how to apply specific MI processes and strategies for brief encounters and will leave this course with the knowledge that you CAN make a difference in a short amount of time.
Participants should already be familiar with MI concepts, and it is highly recommended to have taken a MI training course in the last year.
