Our Family Services got together with KGUN9 to talk about our Reunion House which serves as the sole Safe Place in Southern Arizona, providing emergency shelter and support to youth aged 12-17.

  • What is Safe Place?
    • Safe Place is a national program that partners with businesses and community organizations to provide immediate assistance to youth in crisis. Designated Safe Place locations display a yellow and black sign, indicating readiness to help.
  • Why is it important?
    • Youth face challenges like abuse, neglect, and homelessness. Safe Place offers immediate access to supportive resources, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • What to do if you or someone you know needs a Safe Place:
    • Visit a Safe Place location: Look for the yellow and black “Safe Place” sign at libraries and QuikTrip stations.
    • Inform an employee: Let them know you need assistance through the Safe Place program.
    • Use TXT 4 HELP: Text “SAFE” and your current location (address, city, state) to 4HELP (44357). You’ll receive a message with the nearest Safe Place location and contact information for local youth services.
    • Contact Reunion House directly: Call (520) 320-5122 for immediate assistance.
Remember, help is available, and no one has to face a crisis alone.
