Join us for our quarterly Mediation Matters Continuing Education Workshop focusing on Microaggressions and bias within the Transformative Mediation space. Moderated by Center Manager, Joanna Marroquin and a panel of black, indigenous, people of color (BIPOC) community mediators leading the conversations around microaggressions and unconscious bias. People are often unaware of how their words or actions impact the recipient, whose experiences differ from their own. Regardless of the intention, microaggressions have affects on people’s lives. Doing the work to show up in mediation spaces is important and supportive of equity in for clients and mediators alike.
