Sara’s Story. Before coming to Our Family, Sara* was new to Tucson and fleeing from an abusive relationship with her young son. When she came in for an intake assessment, Sara and her son were exhausted and scared. With the help of our case management team, Sara was able to quickly find an apartment. Once she had a safe and stable place for her family, Sara was able to work more hours and even earned a raise!
Before exiting the program, Sara thanked Our Family for all the help and support we gave her. She truly believes Our Family provided her with the fresh start she needed to begin a new, happy life for her and her son!
