Our Family

Dear Staff, Volunteers and Friends,

Our Family is dedicated to maintaining a culture that promotes excellence and continual improvement.

We are proud of our adherence to the high standards set by the Council on Accreditation (COA) and the Arizona Office of Behavioral Health Licensure. By integrating these standards into everything we do as an agency, we ensure that the service we provide is of the highest quality, that our administration is efficient and accountable, and that our resources are committed to efforts that truly make our community a better place to live, to grow up, and to grow older.

Because we believe that quality improvement is so important, one of our senior staff is designated as our Quality Improvement Officer. This position isn’t associated with any one job title but is placed in the hands of the staff person most able to ensure the implementation of a quality improvement system across the organization. Our quality improvement process looks at everything from the content of our case files, to the safety and security of our facilities, to the success rates of our programs. This is an agencywide effort that requires the involvement of a wide range of managers and staff.

Every program and service of Our Family sets goals for service provision and client success. These goals are reviewed and revised annually, and progress toward achieving them is measured through hard data, as well as client feedback.

Input from our clients, staff, volunteers, donors and other community stakeholders is one of the most valuable tools we have for understanding the impact of our work. We hope that every interested community member will offer questions, suggestions and feedback to our Executive Team at suggestionbox@ourfamilyservices.org.

Each year, Our Family publishes an annual report to highlight the successes of our programs, discuss our challenges as an agency and as a community, and to present our audited financial information. The annual report tells our stakeholders how we affect the lives of our clients, how we spend every dollar, and how Tucson’s changing needs shape our programming.

On our website you will find our latest annual report, audited  financial statements, quality improvement plan, program overviews and recent news.

We are proud of the work that our staff does every day to change the lives of our community’s children, youth, families, older adults and neighborhoods -- and the demonstrable quality of our programming.

Sincerely,

Sue Krahe, Executive Director
