Our Family

Elder Legacy Services

Since 1972, we have helped elders and adults with disabilities live with dignity and independence in the residential settings of their choice. Our Family also offers services that help elders discuss end-of life issues and prepare for the challenges they face as they age.

Elder Legacy Services assist elders and their families in approaching end-of-life with dignity, the greatest independence possible, and peace of mind in having left a meaningful legacy.

Services include:

  • Elder Circles - Monthly discussion groups that cultivate the value of Elders as mentors and wise counsel.

  • Eldercare Mediation - An affordable way to help families stop arguing and start having productive discussions about the care of aging loved ones.

  • Senior Companion Program - The Senior Companion Program is a national volunteer services initiative through which low-income men and women 55 years of age and older receive stipends to provide respite and companion services to homebound elders and individuals with disabilities.

Need additional services? To find out if you qualify for publicly funded senior services, please call Pima Council on Aging Community Service System Central Intake at (520) 790-7262.

Elder Legacy Services are funded in part by Ellen Kaye, Eliot Spalding Foundation, The David and Lura T. Lovell Foundation, Desert Diamond Casinos and Entertainment, Knisely Family Foundation, the Shaaron Kent Endowment held at the Community Foundation of Southern Arizona, and the United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona.
