Arizona’s Families F.I.R.S.T.: Institutes case management, counseling and substance-abuse diversion to support and rebuild families against whom a CPS report has been filed.

3830 E. Bellevue St.
(520) 323-1708 ext. 110

Under this contract with Community Partnership of Southern Arizona, we conduct outreach, intake and behavioral-health assessments for families referred by Child Protective Services and the Department of Economic Security Jobs program. Many of these families have children in foster care, and Juvenile Court has recommended that they participate in an assessment and follow through with any recommended services.

We contact the families, offer services and engage them in this program, serving as a bridge until the family is receiving services from a community behavioral health provider such as La Frontera, COPE, CODAC, The Haven, Counseling and Consulting Services, Jewish Family and Children’s Services, Project PPEP, Marana Health Center or Compass Healthcare.

Some clients participate in our substance-abuse support group, Recovery Together, until long-term services can be arranged.
