Pictures of Hope (POH)
Pictures of Hope is a national educational photography program for children created by photojournalist and author Linda Solomon. Children ages 7-14, living in our housing programs, participate by taking photos that represent their hopes and dreams. The photos are used on greeting cards and are sold to benefit Our Family Services. The cards will be available for sale in the fall but can be pre-ordered now, visit our office at 2590 N. Alvernon Way to reserve your cards for $15.00 per pack or online for $20 per pack (includes shipping):
Tucson is the only city selected to participate in Pictures for Hope for 5 consecutive years (2011-2015). Pictures of Hope is made possible byLinda Solomon, Walgreens and Alphagraphics.
"On the Inside" CD

Melanie Morrison has released a CD of original songs she calls "a mix of blues, pop and a little folk." All proceeds from this CD ($17 each) go directly to our New Beginnings homeless programs. The CD is an Owl's Nest Production, produced by Lisa Otey and Kathleen Williamson and recorded at Jim Brady Recording Studios in Tucson. Purchase one at our Alvernon offices or here:
