Last year 10,000 at-risk children, youth, families, seniors and disabled adults in Pima County used Our Family’s continuum of services.

Our counseling programs help people improve their lives. General mental health counseling addresses a range of issues. From individual, marriage or family counseling to therapy groups on anger management or domestic violence, we give our clients new skills to be better people. Through contracts with local government entities, we also provide therapeutic services to families dealing with complex issues including substance abuse.

Our youth services help young people who have no one else to turn to. Whether they’ve run away from home or been kicked out, whether they’re pregnant or with children or going it alone, whether they want help to reunite with their families or need the skills to make it on their own, we offer the shelter and support they need.

Our community services make Southern Arizona a better place. We help families, co-workers and neighbors find solutions to disputes without going to court. Our parenting classes help create happier, healthier families. We prevent bullying in schools and educate young people about rape prevention. Our free Information & Referral Helpline connects people to a host of community resources.

Our services for older and disabled adults help the frail or housebound continue living with dignity and independence as long as possible through friendly visits, case management, transportation and grocery shopping. Our affordable services help keep seniors and disabled people safe and well, while easing the burdens on those who make decisions about their care.

Our Family is a $4.4 million organization with 90 employees, as well as an active corps of volunteers. It is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children Inc. and licensed as a behavioral healthcare institution by the Arizona Department of Health Services. Our services are available in English and Spanish.

Our Family, created in October 2005 by the merger of Family Counseling Agency and OUR TOWN, has a combined history of more than 75 years of service to our community.
